Auch heute waren wir wieder mit dem Auto unterwegs, dieses Mal sind wir an einen Waldrand gefahren.
Keine so tolle Idee… wir haben leider immer noch extrem viele Stechmücken, vor allem im Wald und wegen des nächtlichen Regens war alles ziemlich nass.
Es war aber trotzdem wieder ein spannender Ausflug für die Kleinen!
Danke auch heute an alle Helfer!
Wir brauchen immer genug Leute, die mit uns auf die wilde Bande aufpassen, weil sie so furchtlos sind und einfach davonrennen, um alles zu erkunden!

Today, we went out in the car again, this time we drove to the forest.
Not a great idea… we still have an extreme number of mosquitoes, especially in the forest, and because of the rain in the night, everything was quite wet. Nevertheless, it was another exciting trip for the little ones!
Thanks as well for the todays helpers!
We always need quite a lot of people to take care of the wild bunch, as they are fearless and just run away to explore everything!

Wir haben die Welpen zum ersten Mal ins Auto gepackt (alles ohne Probleme) und sind zur Wiese gefahren, wo sie die große, weite Welt erkunden konnten.
Wie immer waren alle ganz unerschrocken und haben die neue Umgebung genauestens inspiziert!
Das restliche Heu war natürlich das Allerbeste um darin herumzutoben!
Was für ein schönes Abenteuer, danke an alle Helfer, die dabei waren!

We packed the puppies into the car for the first time (everything went smoothly) and drove to the meadow, where they could explore the big, wide world.
As always, they were all fearless and thoroughly inspected the new surroundings!
The leftover hay was, of course, the best for romping around in!
What a wonderful adventure, thank you to all helpers who joined us!

Basenjis sind bekannt dafür, dass sie Wasser nicht wirklich mögen.
Ich bin als Züchter der Ansicht, dass es von großem Vorteil ist, wenn ein Hund sich auch mal im Sommer im Wasser abkühlen kann oder aus einem fließenden Bach etwas trinken kann!
Deshalb gewöhne ich all meine Welpen an Wasser.
Seit letztem Jahr mit Hilfe eines kleinen Hundepools, da die Bäche im Wald entweder ausgetrocknet sind bzw aktuell der Wald moskitoverseucht ist!
Anfangs finden die Welpen das nicht so spannend, mit vielen Leckerlis und guten Zureden erkennen sie aber durchaus die Vorteile!
All meine eigenen Basenjis gehen gerne ins Wasser, zumindest bis zum Bauch.
Thao schwimmt manchmal sogar!

Basenjis are known for not really liking water.
As a breeder, I believe it is very beneficial if a dog can cool off in the water during summer or drink from a running stream!
That’s why I get all my puppies used to water.
Since last year, I’ve been using a small dog pool because the streams in the forest have either dried up or the forest is currently infested with mosquitoes! Initially, the puppies don’t find it very exciting, but with lots of treats and encouragement, they soon see the benefits!
All my Basenjis enjoy going into the water, at least up to their bellies.
Thao even swims sometimes!

Sie durften alles mit ihr machen, Schwänzchen ziehen, Ohren kauen, auf ihr herumklettern und zusammen kuscheln. Es war so schön anzusehen!

Jazouh absolutely loves puppies, and they had total free rein with her.
They were allowed to do anything with her—pull her tail, chew on her ears, climb on her, and cuddle together. It was so beautiful to see!

Youhko is due on May 25, 2024, and we are expecting 5 puppies in red, white, and tricolor.
“Youhko” (Multi-Ch. Msumari’s Fayouhko) was sired by our homebred boy “Shifu” (Msumari’s Jam Jashifu, owned by Darina Tsokolaeva), and both are going back to our very first Msumari puppy “Minouh” (Multi-Ch. Msumari’s Aza Aminouh).

On day 27 after the mating, we had an ultrasound done, and our intuition was right!
We are happy to announce that we are expecting the Msumari’s N-Litter on 25.05.2024 with our Multi-Champion Msumari’s Fayouhko and Msumari’s Jam Jashifu!
We`re looking forward to our fourth rare summerlitter and we´re expecting a wonderful litter of 5 puppies in red-white and tricolor!
