Wir sind 60 Tage alt!
So schwer es fällt, ab heute heißt es Abschied nehmen!
Die Welpen werden nun, ausgestattet mit Halsband & Leine, Körbchen & Decke, Spielzeug, Leckereien & Kauspaß, Futter ect in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen.
Während wir heiße Tränen vergießen, werden die Kleinen freudestrahlend von ihren zukünftigen Besitzern in Empfang genommen.
Wir sind happy, dass wir wieder einmal tolle Zuhause für unsere Schätze gefunden haben!
Macht es gut, ihr wildes Volk, wir sehen Euch alle bald einmal wieder!
Ein paar letzte Abschiedsfotos und dann heißt es „Auf Wiedersehen“!

We are 60 days old!
As hard as it is, from today on it`s time to say goodbye!
The puppies, equipped with collar & leash, basket & blanket, toys, treats & chewing stuff, food, etc., will move into their new homes.
While we are in tears, they are happily awaited by their future owners.
We are happy, that we have found, once again, great homes for our treasures!
Take care, you wild little ones, we will see you all again !

Wir sind 59 Tage alt!
Wir hatten einen absolut fantastischen Nachmittag!!!
Wir haben Heike besucht, die Zugang zu einem großen und basenjisicheren Gelände hat, das etwa 120 km von uns entfernt ist.
Die Welpen hatten so auch noch einmal eine lange Autofahrt ohne Probleme.
Der H-Wurf traf dort auf Heikes 3 Basenjis „Alf“, „Gordon“ & „Rhonja“ und die Kleinen hatten mehr als 1,5 Stunden lang mega viel Spaß beim Fetzen über die Wiese!
Das Msumari`s Rudel durfte natürlich auch aufs Gelände und hatte seinen Spaß!
Flo mit „Sua“ (Msumaris Gyi`Shasua) ist ebenfalls da gewesen und „Sua“ hat ihre Mama „Youhli“ wieder getroffen!
Da Basenjis nicht gut mit anderen Basenjis können, die nicht zu ihrem eigenen Rudel gehören, konnten wir sie leider nicht alle zusammen laufen lassen.
Aber die eher zurückhaltende „Youhko“ und Küken „Sua“ verstanden sich sehr gut mit dem Rudel von Heike und diese 5 hatten viel Spaß miteinander beim fetzen auf dem Gelände, während der ausgepowerte H-Wurf ein Nickerchen in der Box machte!

We are 59 days old!
What an absolutly amazing afternoon we had!!!
We visited Heike, who has a large basenjiproof-fenced area about 120 km away from us, so the puppies had a long car ride without any problems.
The H-Litter met Heikes 3 Basenjis „Alf“, „Gordon“ & „Rhonja“ and the little ones had so much fun running and racing around for more than 1,5 hours!
The Msumari`s pack was allowed to be on the field as well and had fun racing around.
Flo with „Sua“ (Msumari`s Gyi`Shasua) joined us as well and „Sua“ met her mommy „Youhli“ again!
As Basenjis are usually not good with other Basenjis not belonging to their own pack, we couldn`t let them run all together. But mellow „Youhko“ and young „Sua“ got along very good with the pack of Heike and these 5 had fun playing with each other, while the H-Litter, completly powered out took a nap in the box!

Was für ein aufregender Tag in dem noch so jungen Leben der Welpen!
Zuerst kam der 12 Jahre alte Bordercollie, Rüde Merlin zu Besuch, um die Welpen auf große, schwarze Hunde zu sozialisieren. Die Mädels kennen Merlin schon sehr lange, haben sich sehr gefreut, ihn wieder zu sehen und er darf auch ohne Probleme zu uns ins Haus. Die Welpen waren sehr interessiert an Merlin und hatten keine Angst!
Vielen Dank an die liebe Anja Jakob für den Besuch mit Merlin!
Am Nachmittag um 17 Uhr stand der Besuch beim Tierarzt auf dem Programm.
Die kurzen Schmerzen beim Impfen und Chippen wurden durch Leckereien versüßt und waren beim Spiel mit den beiden süßen Töchtern vom Tierarzt Dr. Rattenhuber in Dießen schnell wieder vergessen.
Herzlichen Dank auch auf diesem Weg wieder einmal für die tolle Betreuung!
Im Auto auf dem Heimweg gab es eine kurzes Powernapping, daheim wurde dann getobt und gespielt, was das Zeug hält.
Zum Umfallen müde waren die Welpen dann beim Besuch des Zuchtwartes des Basenji Klubs um 19 Uhr. Das Messen der Größe war ob der verschlafenen Welpen sehr lustig, dafür gab es beim Wiegen keine Probleme!
Alle Welpen sind gesund, haben keine Nabelbrüche und bei den Rüden sind alle Hoden schon da! Vielen Dank an Edgar Heckelsmüller für den Besuch!
Nun heißt es bald Abschied nehmen…

10.03.20 – We are 8 weeks old ♥
What an exciting day in the young life of the puppies!
First, we had a visit of the 12 year old border collie male Merlin to socialize the puppies with big, black dogs. The girls know Merlin for a long time, were very happy to see him again and he is allowed to come to our house without any problems. The puppies have been very interessted in Merlin and showed no signs of fear!
Thgank you so much to dear Anja Jakob for the visit!
In the afternoon at 5 p.m. we went to the veterinarian Dr. Rattenhuber at Dießen and the puppioes got their shots and chips! Sweetend by treats, they forgot the painful procedure quickly and played after with the two cute daughters of the vet. Thank you so much again for the great care!
In the car on the way home they made a short power napping, at home they played rough and wild as always!
Therefore the puppies have been so tired when the breed warden of the Basenji Club came for litter control. Measuring the size was very funny because of the sleepy puppies, but there was no problems with weighing!
All puppies are healthy, have no umbilical hernias and all testicles of the males are already there! Thank you to Edgar Heckelsmüller for the visit!
Now it’s time to say goodbye soon. ..

Die Welpen kennen nicht nur das Badezimmer und die Menschen beim Duschen, sondern auch den lauten Fön.
Das erweist sich von Vorteil, wenn man nach einem Gassi im Regen den Basenji wieder trocken und warm bekommen möchte!

Einmal am Tag dürfen die Welpen noch unter meinen Augen bei Mama „Noué“ trinken. Sie sind so wild und ungestüm, dass ich das zum Schutz von „Noué“ nur in meinem Beisein zulasse und auch nur im Liegen. Ansonsten hängen Sie sich mit ihren scharfen und Spitzen Zähnen voll in das Gesäuge, was äußerst schmerzhaft ist!

Once a day, the puppies are allowed to drink on mommy „Noué“. They as they are so wild and rough, they areI only allowed to drink under my surveillance and while Noué is laying down. Otherwise, they would hang themselves with their sharp and pointed teeth, which is extremely painful!

Da das Wetter sehr mild war und wir genügend Helfer zu Besuch hatten, waren die Welpen zusammen mit dem Msumari`s Rudel schon das erste Mal auf der Wiese und im Wald!
Völlig unerschrocken haben die 4 Kleinen alles erkundet und sie sind auch schon das erste Mal ohne Probleme im Bach gestanden!

Heute gab es als Belohnung für die eklige Wurmpaste leckeren Thunfisch.
Mama Noué lässt ihre Kleinen nicht mehr gerne trinken, weil sie schon so rabiat sind! Maximal 2-3x am Tag dürfen sie noch an die Milchbar!

Die Welpen haben zusammen mit den Großen in der Küche gefrühstückt!

Die Welpen bekommen eine große Vielfalt an unterschiedlichen Arten von Futter!
Heute gab es gekochtes Rinderhack und es wurde gerne gefressen!
Außerdem haben die Kleinen die erste Bekanntschaft mit dem lauten Staubsauger gemacht – kein Problem für sie gewesen!

Heute gab es für die Welpen die erste Portion Welpendosenfutter gemischt mit Hüttenkäse und Ziegenmilch.
Das haben alle 4 auf Anhieb mit großem Genuss verschlungen!

Today the puppies got the first portion of puppy canned food mixed with cottage cheese and goat milk, which all 4 immediately ate with great pleasure!

Auch wenn es noch sehr kalt ist, waren die Welpen heute schon zum ersten Mal für eine Minute draußen im Garten um dort erfolgreich ihr kleines Geschäft zu verrichten! Mehr oder weniger neugierig haben sie die neue Umgebung betrachtet und sind ein bisschen herumgelaufen. Die frühe Gewöhnung an kältereTemperaturen stärkt das Immunsystem und schon bald werden die Kleinen die Zeit im Garten super spannend finden!
Danach gab es zur Belohnung die warme Milch von Mama Noué!

Even if it is still very cold, the puppies have been outside in the garden for a minute for the first time today and the peed successfully there!
More or less curiously they looked at the new area and walked around a bit. Getting used to colder temperatures strengthens the immune system and soon the little ones will have a super exciting time in the garden!
Afterwards, they got the warm milk from Mama Noué!

Heute gab es zum ersten Mal feines Rinderhackfleisch für die Welpen!
Die Kleinen, allen voran das Mädchen haben das feine Hackfleisch sofort inhaliert!
Alle Welpen nehmen gut zu und sie haben alle schon die 1kg Marke geknackt!

Today, the puppies got their first minced meat!
The little ones, specially the girl really loved it!
All puppies are gaining their weight and all have now over 1 kg!

Die Welpen haben nun das erste Spielzeug in die Wurfkiste bekommen.
Es wurde sofort untersucht und angeknabbert, und dann als Schlafunterlage benutzt!

The puppies got their first toys in the puppybox.
It was examined and they chewed on it and then they used it to sleep on it!

Der erste Besuch von zukünftigen Besitzern war da!
Alle Welpen ebenso wie die Großen wurden ausgiebigst beschmust, gestreichelt und es wurde gekuschelt was das Zeug hält!

All puppies as well as the big ones were extensively loved, petted and cuddled as much as possible!

Heute gab es für die Welpen die erste Ziegenmilch.
Sie haben alle gleich verstanden, wie es geht und haben begeistert getrunken!
Ziegenmilch ist der Milch von Hündinnen sehr ähnlich, wird von den Welpen sehr gut vertragen, sie trinken es sehr gerne und es entlastet die Mutterhündin schon ein bisschen!

The puppies had their first goat milk today and they all immediately understood how to do it and drank enthusiastically!
Goat milk is very similar to the milk of female dogs, is very well tolerated by the puppies, they like to drink it and it relieves their mother a bit!

Die Welpen haben begonnen, mit den Großen zu interagieren und sie haben auch schon die Wurfbox verlassen um in kleinen Schritten das Wohnzimmer zu erkunden!

Die Welpen haben nun ihre Welpenhalsbänder bekommen!
Wenn man die Halsbänder so früh schon anzieht, gewöhnen die Welpen sich problemlos daran und es gibt kein Kratzen oder Weinen!

If you put on the collars in a very young age, the puppies will get used to them easily and there will be no scratching or crying!

Anstatt eines schönes Geschenks zu unserem 2 wöchigen Geburtstag gab es eine eklige Entwurmumgspaste…

27.01.20 – Wir sind 13 Tage alt ♥
Die Welpen haben nun die erste Nacht oben neben unserem Bett verbracht, die Zeit meines relativ unbequemen Schlafs auf der Matratze vor der Wurfkiste ist nun vorbei.
Noch bleibt Noué die ganze Nacht in der Box, doch schon bald wird sie wieder bei uns im Bett schlafen und nur kurz zum Säugen zu den Welpen gehen.

The puppies did spent the first night upstairs next to our bed, the time of my uncomfortable sleep on the mattress in front of the whelping box is over now.
Noué still stays in the box all night, but soon she will sleep in bed with us again and only go down to the puppies to feed them.

Youhli, Youhko und Minouh helfen Noué gerne mit den Welpen!
Dies ist absolut nicht selbstverständlich!
Normalerweise erlauben die Mütter keinerlei Kontakt von anderen Hunden zu ihren Welpen.
Meine Hündinnen vertrauen mir aber völlig und so ist es für sie auch in Ordnung, wenn die anderen Rudelmitglieder mithelfen!

Usually the mothers do not allow any contact of other dogs with their puppies.

Unsere Nabelschnüre sind gut abgeheilt und schon abgefallen!
Mama Noué nimmt schon ab und zu eine Auszeit und genießt die Sonne zusammen mit dem Rest des Rudels.

Unsere erste Nacht auf Erden war gut!
Wir sind immer hungrig, wir haben alle schon ca. 30 Gramm zugenommen und wir fühlen uns sehr wohl bei Mama Noué!.

Our first night on earth was fine!
We are always hungry, we all gained already about 30gr and we love to be with mommy Noué!
❤️ Der Msumari H-Wurf ist da! ❤️
Nach einer ziemlich unruhigen Nacht hat Noué am Dienstagmorgen, 14.01.20 zwischen 6.10 und 7.15 Uhr 4 wundervolle Welpen zur Welt gebracht!
Einem tri Rüden mit 211gr folgte eine rot-weiße Hündin mit 204gr, dann kam ein weiterer tri Rüde mit 235gr und schließlich noch ein rot-weißer Rüde mit 210gr!
Noué und den Kleinen geht es großartig und ich bin mehr als glücklich, dass Noué so entspannt ist wie ihre Verwandten zuvor und den anderen 4 Msumari-Mädchen erlaubt, zu helfen!
Alle Welpen haben eine wundervolle, gleichmäßige Zeichnung und weiße Krägen, sie sind glücklich und zufrieden und sie sind bisher keine großen Schreier!

❤️ The Msumari`s H-Litter arrived! ❤️
After a quite restless night, on tuesday morning, 14.01.20, between 6.10h – 7.15h Noué gave birth to 4 wonderful puppies!
A tri boy with 211gr was followed by a red-white girl with 204gr, then another tri boy with 235gr and finally a red-white boy with 210gr!
Noué and the little ones are doing great and I am more than happy, that Noué is as relaxed as her relatives before and allowes the other 4 Msumari’s girls to help ❤️
All puppies have wonderful markings and full collars, they are happy and content and they are no big yellers!

Wir haben ein paar tolle Fotos von unserer Reise zum Deckrüden!
Der Vater des Msumari`s H-Wurfs lebt in Frankreich und wir haben die Zeit genutzt und haben einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub in der Normandie/Frankreich verbracht!
Wir haben die Städte Rouen, Honfleur, Trouville, Deauville & Dieppe besucht und waren an der schönen Atlantikküste.
Das Wetter war für Mitte November wunderbar und sonnig und es war wieder einmal ein ganz tolles Erlebnis!
Jetzt hoffen wir auf Basenjiwelpen von Noué, die um den 12. Januar 2020 auf die Welt kommen.

We have some great photos from our trip to the stud dog!
The father of the Msumari`s H-litter lives in France and we used the time and spent a wonderful short vacation in Normandy / France!
We visited the cities of Rouen, Honfleur, Trouville, Deauville & Dieppe and were on the beautiful atlantic coast.
The weather was wonderful and sunny for mid-november and it was once again a great experience!
Now we are hoping for Noués Basenjipuppies born around January 12th 2020.
Msumari`s H-Wurf
Unsere „Noué“ (Multi-Championesse Msumari`s Dayo Younoué) wurde am 10. November 2019 in der Normandie/Frankreich gedeckt und wir freuen uns sehr auf den Msumari`s H-Wurf, den wir am 12. Januar 2020 erwarten!
Der Vater des erwarteten Msumari`s H-Wurfs ist der sehr erfolgreiche Rüde „Multi-Ch. Jadaka Meisterhaus Silver Legacy“ vom bekannten amerikanischen Züchter Tad Brooks. Er ist im Besitz der bekannten Züchterin Lise Durlot in Frankreich.
Beide Elterntiere des Msumari`s H-Wurfs sind typvolle Basenjis, beide voll im Standard und beide sind sehr erfolgreiche Multi-Champions. Sie sind beides kleine Powerpakete und haben viel Energie, sind aber dennoch vom Wesen her verspielt und verschmust.
Aus dieser Verpaarung erwarten wir typvolle Basenjiwelpen mit schönem Exterieur, hervorragendem Gangwerk und wunderbarem & verspieltem Wesen in der Farbe rot-weiß und da beide Elterntiere das Gen tragen auch in tricolor.
