Nachdem wir 2 schreckliche Hotelnächte mit kaum Schlaf hatten, sind wir am zweiten Tag nicht in den Ehrenring.
Aber wir waren am ersten Tag erfolgreich und haben von 14 schönen Zuchtgruppen  mit „Yaki“, „Thao“ & „Youhko“ unter dem Richter Jochen Eberhard (D) Zuchtgruppe BIS-2 gewonnen!
Jetzt gibt es eine Showpause für eine Weile, und freuen uns jetzt auf gemütliche und relaxte Wochenenden zu Hause.

As we had 2 horrible hotel nights with almost no sleep we didn’t go to the main ring the second day…
But we have been successful the first day winning BREEDERS GROUP BIS-2 with „Yaki“, „Thao“ & „Youhko“ under judge Jochen Eberhard (D) out of 14 lovely breeders groups!
We are having a show break now for a while, focusing on relaxed and cozy weekends at home!

„Loua“ ist die Stammhündin meiner Msumari’s Zucht, es geht ihr immer noch gut und – mit ein bisschen Hilfe meinerseits – ist sie immer noch die Chefin des Msumari’s Basenji Rudels ❣️
Ihre Welt ist nunmehr ziemlich still, sie hört nur noch sehr laute Pfiffe, sie sieht auch nicht mehr so gut, vor allem im Dunkeln, ihr Schlaf ist nun sehr tief aber sie ist immer noch beim täglichen Gassi dabei!

Ohne Loua wäre ich nicht da, wo ich heute bin…
Ich kann nicht beschreiben, wie dankbar wir sind, dass diese wundervolle Hündin immer noch bei uns ist!
Wir haben hoffentlich noch eine lange Zeit miteinander!

Her world is quite silent, as she can hear only very loud whistles, her eye sight is lower, specially in the dark, her sleep is very tight but she still is on tour with us every day!

Without „Loua“, I would not be, where I am now…
Words canˋt describe, how thankful we are, that this wonderful girl is still with us

Wir sind zurück von unserem wundervollen Trip nach Zagreb (HR) wo wir 4 Tage die tolle Gastfreundschaft von Mišo, Vanesa & Bisou genossen haben!
WIr hatten 4 Tage voller  Basenjigeplauder, gutem Essen und Trinken und wir haben zusammen die Zeit genossen.

Back home from a wonderful trip to Zagreb (HR) where we enjoyed 4 days the great hospitality of Mišo, Vanesa & Bisou!
Lots of Basenjitalks, good drinks and food and hanging out together made these 4 days so special!

Sahnehäubchen am Samstag für „Youhko“ und „Thao“ dieauf der CACIB II in der Paarklasse unter Richter Dusan Paunovic (SRB) gemeldet waren und von 24 schönen Paarklassen BIS-3 gewinnen!

In diesem Fall Msumari’s Luo Luzheno (Noué x Mocca), der im Norden von Deutschland lebt und uns zusammen mit seinen Besitzern in Dortmund auf der Ausstellung besucht hat!
Mr. Black, der jetzt „Pablo“ gerufen wird ist bei Brigitte & Richard zuhause die so viel Spaß mit dem tri Buben haben und die alles so toll mit ihm machen!

It’s always so lovely, to meet puppies again!

In this case Msumari’s Luo Luzheno (Noué x Mocca), who lives up north of Germany and he came with his owners to the show at Dortmund to see us again!
Mr. Black, now called „Pablo“ is owned and loved by Brigitte & Richard who are having so much fun with this lovely tri boy and they are doing such a good job with him!

We have 4 new championtitles!

What a wonderful and successful time we had showing the first time in Domaljevac, Bosnia-Herzegovina!
We attended 3 shows, 1 national and 2 international shows on 14. & 15.09.2022

Am 20.08.2022 waren wir bei der Klubschau in Bingen-Büdesheim und die Msumari`s Basenji haben unter dem englischen Richter Danny Cullen tolle Erfolge erzielt!

„Loua“ – Multi-Ch. Loki`s Iloua
hat mit 16,5 Jahren beim Wettbewerb „Beste Ohren“ mitgemacht und hat diesen, wie schon viele Male zuvor auch wieder gewonnen!
„Youhli“ – Multi-Ch. Msumari`s Bayouhli
wurde in der Veteranenklasse der Hündinnen ausgestellt, kommt dort auf Platz 2 und gewinnt außerdem den Wettbewerb „Bestes Rot-Weiß“!

wurde in der Championklasse der Hündinnen ausgestellt und kommt auf Platz 2.

We have been at the Club Winner Show at Bingen-Büdesheim on 20.08.2022 and Msumari`s Basenji had great success under the english judge Danny Cullen!

❤️ Time to say good-bye❤️

Der Abschied ist da, die Welpen des Msumari`s L-Wurfs ziehen in ihre neuen Zuhause!
Wir sind sehr traurig, dass die Buben gehen, die neuen Besitzer überglücklich, dass endlich ihre Welpen bei ihnen einziehen.
Wir haben wieder super tolle Zuhause für die 3 Buben gefunden!
„Zhuko“ zieht nach Böblingen, wird seit über einem Jahr erwartet und wird Praxishund bei seinen neuen Besitzern!
„Zheno“, der jetzt „Pablo“ gerufen wird, zieht nach Oberhausen und mildert die Trauer eines Paares, das erst kürzlich ihren geliebten Basenji gehen lassen mussten.
„Zharo“ bleibt hier ganz nahe bei uns auf der anderen Seite des Sees und tritt die Nachfolge von 2 Basenjirüden an.
Macht es gut, ihr wunderbaren tri Buben, wir freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen!

❤️ Time to say good-bye ❤️

The farewell is here, the puppies of the Msumari`s L-litter are moving to their new homes!
We are very sad that the boys are leaving, the new owners are so happy, that their puppies are finally with them.
We found again great homes for the 3 boys!
„Zhuko“ is moving to Böblingen, is expected for over a year and will go to work with its new owners!
„Zheno“, now called „Pablo“, moves to Oberhausen and eases the grief of a couple who recently lost their beloved Basenji.
„Zharo“ stays close to us on the other side of the lake and follows the footsteps 2 basenji males.
Take care you wonderful tri boys, we look forward to see you soon again!

Msumari`s Basenjis Treffen auf der Rennbahn in Mertingen!

19 Basenjis und ihre Besitzer haben sich zum Msumari`s Basenjis Treffen auf der Rennbahn in Mertingen getroffen und wir haben alle zusammen einen wunderschönen Tag verbracht!
Alle Basenjis hatten großen Spaß bei der Jagt d nach dem falschen Hasen und auch die Neulinge wussten sofort, wie der Hase läuft.
Es gab Kaffee und Kuchen, am Abend ein leckeres Barbeque und erst kurz vor Mitternacht ging man wieder getrennte Wege!
Was für ein toller Tag!
Vielen Dank an alle, die den zum Teil sehr weiten Weg gekommen sind!
Vielen Dank auch an Anja und Helmut von den Windhundfreunden Mertingen für die Möglichkeit, bei Euch zu sein und zusammen zu feiern!

Msumari`s Basenjis Meeting at the racetrack in Mertingen!

19 Basenjis and their owners met at the Msumari`s Basenjis Meeting at the racetrack in Mertingen and we all spent a wonderful day together!
All Basenjis had a lot of fun chasing the lure and even the newcomers knew immediately what to do!
We had coffee and cake, a delicious barbecue in the evening and had a lovely come together almost till midnight!
What a great day!

Zum 2-wöchigen Geburtstag gab es die ersten Gewöhnhalsbänder.
In diesem Alter gewöhnen sich die Kleinen ohne Probleme daran und das lästige Kratzen entfällt komplett.
Schwarz für den erstgeborenen Bub, braun für den zweiten Bub und silber für den dritten Bub.

For the 2-week birthday we got our first collars.
At this age, the little ones get used to them without any problems and the annoying scratching is completely eliminated.
Black for the first born boy, brown for the second boy and silver for the third boy.

Heute war Thali zu Besuch bei uns!

Thali (Msumari´`s Kya Kythali) und Nina waren heute zu Besuch und was war das für eine Freude, als „Thali“ uns wieder gesehen hat, die kleine Jodelkönigin ♥
Wir waren zusammen mit Mama Youhko und Bruderherz Thao ein kurzes Gassi auf der Wiese und im Wald, wo die 2 wilden Youngsters ihren mega Spaß im Bach hatten. Daheim im Garten wurde dann weitergetobt und ich konnte ein paar so tolle Fotos machen ♥
Die Geschwister haben sich nach 8 Monaten das erste Mal wieder gesehen und sie lieben sich ♥
Lieben Dank Nina & Thali für Euren Besuch! Es war so schön Euch wieder zu sehen!

„Thali“ visited us today!

Thali (Msumari’s Kya Kythali) and Nina came for a visit today and what a joy it was when little yodel queen „Thali“ saw us again ♥
We went for a short walk with mommy Youhko and brother Thao on the meadow and in the forest, where the 2 wild youngsters had so much fun in the creek.
At home in the garden they continued playing and I was able to take some great photos ♥
The sibblings have seen each other for the first time since 8 month and they love each other ♥

❤️ Msumari`s Basenjis L-Wurf ist da ❤️

Der Msumari`s L-Wurf wurde am Tag 60 ohne Probleme geboren und wir sind so glücklich über die Geburt von 3 tricolor Buben!!!
Wir wussten, dass wir die Chance auf tricolor, rote und schwarze Welpen hatten aber ich glaube niemand hat aus der Kombination von „Noué“ &“ Mocca“ dieses tricolor Trio erwartet, alle mit schönem komplett weißen Kragen und sehr gleichmäßig und wir sind so glücklich über diese kleinen Schätze ❤️!

The Msumari`s L-Litter arrived safe on day 60 and we are so happy to announce the arrival of 3 tricolor boys!!!
We knew, that we have the chance for tris, reds and blacks but I guess out of this combination of „Noué“ & „Mocca“ nobody expected this beautiful tricolor trio, all of them with lovely white collars and very even and we are so happy about these little treasures ❤️

Hattrick für Msumari`s Zuchtgruppe, „Youhli“ Veteranen Best in Show 1 & 2!
„Thazhu“ & „Thao“ neue Slovenische Junior Champions!

Wir hatten ein schönes und erfolgreiches Show-Wochenende in Bled in Slovenien und kommen zurück mit 3 neuen Champions!
Bei unglaublichem Wetter (heiße 27°C am Freitag und kalten und regnerischen 13°C am Samstag und Sonntag) waren wir auf 3 Ausstellungen zusammen mit „Yaki“ und seiner Familie und mit „Matiz“ und „Thazhu“ und Desirée & Bernd!

„Thazu“ (J-Ch. Msumari`s Kya Kythazhu, im Eigentum von Desirée und mir) wurde in der Jugendklasse der Hündinnen ausgestellt, wird Jugend-BOB & BOS am Tag 1, Jugend BOS am Tag 2&3 und ist somit neuer Slovenischer Jugendchampion!
„Matiz“ (J-Ch. Msumari`s Ima Imatiz im Eigentum von Desirée) wurde in der Offenen Klasse der Rüden ausgestellt, bekommt V1 & CAC am Tag 1, V2 & Res-CAC am Tag 2 und V1 & CACIB am Tag 3!
„Yaki“ (Ch. Msumari`s Hyo H`Yakini) wird in der Champion Klasse der Rüden ausgestellt und bekommt an allen 3 Tagen V2 mit Res-CAC!
„Thao“ (J-Ch. Msumari`s Kya Kythao) wird in der Jugendklasse der Rüden ausgestellt, bekommt V2 mit Res-CAC am Tag 1, V1, J-BOB & J-BOG-3 am Tag 2 und J-BOB & BOB am Tag 3 und ist somit neuer Slovenischer Jugendchampion!
Der Star des Wochenendes ist „Youhli“, die in der Veteranenklasse der Hündinnen ausgestellt wird.
Sie wird an allen Tagen Veteranen BOB und gewinnt im Ehrenring am Tag 2 Veteranen Best in Show Platz 1 und am Tag 3 Veteranen Best in Show Platz 2!

Great and successful show weekend in Bled in Slovenia!
Hattrick for Msumari`s breeders group, „Youhli“ Veteran Best in Show 1 & 2!
„Thazhu“ & „Thao“ new Slovenian Junior Champions!

We had a nice and successful show weekend in Bled in Slovenia and we’re coming back with 3 new champions!
With unbelievable weather (hot 27°C on Friday and cold and rainy 13°C on Saturday and Sunday) we have been on 3 shows together with „Yaki“ and his family and with „Matiz“ and „Thazhu“ and Desirée & Bernd!

„Thazu“ (J-Ch. Msumari`s Kya Kythazhu, owned by Desirée and me) was shown in female junior class, won Junior BOB & BOS on day 1, Junior BOS on day 2&3 and is therefore new Slovenian Junior Champion!
„Matiz“ (J-Ch. Msumari`s Ima Imatiz owned by Desirée) was shown in the Male Open Class , got  Exc.1 & CAC on day 1, Exc.2 & Res-CAC on day 2 and Exc.1 & CACIB on day 3 !
„Yaki“ (Ch. Msumari`s Hyo H`Yakini) was shown in Male Champion Class and got Exc.2 with Res-CAC all 3 days!
„Thao“ (J-Ch. Msumari`s Kya Kythao) was shown in the Male Junior Class, was Exc.2 with Res-CAC on day 1, Exc.1, J-BOB & J-BOG-3 on day 2 and J-BOB & BOB on day 3 and is therefore now new Slovenian Junior Champion!
The star of the weekend is „Youhli“, who was shown in Female Veteran Class.
She won Veteran BOB every day and won in the main ring on day 2 Veteran Best in Show 1st place and on day 3 Veteran Best in Show 2nd place!
So great!
Last but not least, Hattrick for Msumari’s breeders group in the main ring!
„Youhli“, „Thazhu“, „Thao“ & „Matiz“ won breeders group Best in Show every 3 days!!!
What a great success, what a great weekend in Bled!

Noué ist tragend!

Heute waren wir beim Tierarzt und der Ultraschall hat gezeigt, was wir schon aufgrund ihres Verhaltens geahnt und gehofft haben…
Noué ist schwanger!
Wir freuen uns sehr auf den L-Wurf, den wir in den Farben rot-weiß, schwarz-weiß und tricolor am 13.06.2022 erwarten.

Today we went to the vet and the ultrasound showed what we expected and hoped, based on her behavior…

Auch das zweite Renntraining war ein Erfolg!

Das Msumari`s Rudel und Dayo & Fallouh haben sich spontan eine Woche nach dem ersten Training gleich wieder getroffen, dieses ;Mal war es etwas wärmer und alle hatten wieder megan Spaß bei der Hatz nach dem falschen Hasen!
Thao ist dieses Mal gleich ohne irgendwelche Probleme mit Renndecke und Maulkorb gelaufen!

The second training was successful as well!

The Msumari’s pack and Dayo & Fallouh spontaneously met again a week after the first training session, this time it was a little bit warmer and everyone had a lot of fun chasing the lure again!
Thao ran this time without any problems with a raceblanket and a muzzle!

Wir waren das erste Mal dieses Jahr auf der Rennbahn!

Das Msumari`s Rudel und Dayo & Fallouh haben sich auf der Rennbahn in Mertingen zum ersten Training in 2022 getroffen und trotz des ziemlich kalten und grauen Wetters hatten alle so viel Spaß!
Thao ist seine erste volle Distanz, natürlich erst einmal ohne Maulkorb gelaufen und er liebt es!

First time at the track for this season!

The Msumari`s pack and Dayo & Fallouh met at the track at Mertingen for the first training in 2022 and despite the pretty grey and cold weather, they all had so much fun!
Thao did, of course without muzzle, his first full distance and he loved it as well!

Unsere Urlaubsreise zur European Dog Show in Paris!

Von der Oster-Spezialschau in Iserlohn fuhren wir über Antwerpen, Knokke-Heist an der belgischen Küste und Brügge nach Paris um an der European Dog Show teilzunehmen.
Es waren wunderschöne Tage an schönen Orten und wir und das Rudel haben die Zeit sehr genossen!
Youhko bekam auf der EDS ein unplatziertes Vorzüglich, Youhli wurde zweite in der Veteranenklasse der Hündinnen und Thao wurde vierter auf der EDS und dritter auf der zweiten Show am zweiten Tag in der Jugendklasse der Rüden.
Alles in allem hatten wir tolle 8 Tage on the road!

Our holiday trip to the European Dog Show in Paris!

From the Easter special show in Iserlohn we drove via Antwerp, Knokke-Heist on the Belgian coast and Bruges to Paris to take part at the European Dog Show.
We had beautiful days at wonderful places and we and the pack really enjoyed our time!
Youhko got an unplaced Excellent at the EDS, Youhli was second in the female veteran class and Thao was fourth at the EDS and third at the second show on the second day in the male junior class.
We had a great 8 days on the road!

Wir freuen uns sehr, die aufregende Neuigkeit verkünden zu können, dass wir am 13.06.2022 (hoffentlich) den Msumari`s L-Wurf, unseren zweiten Sommerwurf erwarten!

Nachdem bei allen Würfen in unserer Zucht bisher immer nur rot-weiße Rüden zum Einsatz kamen, haben wir uns, sehr zur Überraschung vieler in der Basenjiszene, dieses Mal für einen schwarz-weißen Rüden entschieden!

„Noué“ & „Mocca“ sind beide super verschmuste Basenjis, und aus dieser Verpaarung erwarten wir sehr typvolle Basenjiwelpen mit super Temperament, wunderbarem Exterieur und exzellenten Gangwerk.
Wir freuen uns auf einen bunten Wurf, denn es werden rot-weiße, schwarz-weiße & tricolor Welpen erwartet!
Vielen Dank an Amalie Heering, die Besitzerin von Mocca für alles ❤️
Ohne „Mocca“ und Ihre große Hilfe in unserer damaligen privaten Situation wäre diese Verpaarung und der L-Wurf von Noué und Mocca nicht zustande gekommen!
„Mocca“, der wahnsinnig erfolgreich ist, lebt in Dänemark und wir haben uns mit ihm auf halbem Weg in Potsdam getroffen.

Nun heißt es Daumen drücken für einen schönen und gesunden Wurf, der, wenn alles klappt, Mitte Juni auf die Welt kommt!

We´re very happy to share the exciting news, that we are hopefully expecting the Msumari`s L-Litter on 13.06.2022

After all the litters in our kennel have so far only been done with red and white males, we decided to use a black and white male this time, a  surprise of many people in the Basenji scene!

„Noué“ & „Mocca“ are both super cuddly Basenjis, and from this mating we expect very typey Basenji puppies with great temperament, wonderful exterieur and excellent gait.
We are looking forward to a colorful litter, because red-white, black-white & tricolor puppies are expected!

Without „Mocca“ and her great help in our private situation at that time, this mating and the L-litter of Noué and Mocca would not have happend!
Super successful „Mocca“ lives in Denmark and we met him halfway at Potsdam.

Fingers crossed now for a beautiful and healthy litter which, if everything works out, will be born in mid-june!

Meine Liebe zur Rasse entstand im Jahre 1995, als meine allererste Basenjihündin Asali (Zande Asali) in England, im bekannten Kennel der berühmten Züchter Sally & Marvin Wallis geboren wurde.
Ich habe fast 2 Jahre auf sie gewartet, bin das erste Mal nach England gereist, um Sally, Marvin und ihr Rudel zu besuchen und mich vorzustellen, ein zweites Mal um die 2 Wochen alte Asali zu besuchen und dann ein drittes Mal um sie schließlich abzuholen und mit nach Hause zu nehmen.
Asali war mein allererster eigener Hund, sie war so ein hübsches und cleveres Mädchen, mein Ein und Alles, mein erster Basenji, sie war immer bei mir und ich werde sie nie vergessen! ❤️

My journey in the breed started back in 1995, when my very first Basenji Asali (Zande Asali) was born in England, in the wellknown Zande Basenjikennel of famous Sally & Marvin Wallis.
I waited almost 2 years for her, travelled the first time to England to meet Sally, Marvin and her pack and introduce myself, travelled a second time to visit 2 weeks old Asali and then, a third time to finally pick her up and take her back with me.
Asali was my very first own dog, such a pretty and clever girl, my one and only, my first Basenji, she was always with me and I will never ever forget her! ❤️

Wir haben eine tolle Reise ins wunderschöne Budapest gemacht, wo wir erfolgreich an zwei Ausstellungen teilgenommen haben und einige tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten in dieser wunderschönen Stadt angeschaut haben.
Es war schön, viele Freunde wiederzusehen!

Wonderful trip to beautiful Budapest, where we joined succesfully two shows and did some sightseeing in this beautiful town.
It was great, to see so many friends again!

Unsere geliebte Minouh ist der erste Welpe, der in unserer Msumari`s Zucht geboren wurde. Als Erstgeborene ist sie eigentlich am 26.12.2009 auf die Welt gekommen, der Rest des Wurfes dann am 27.12.2009, an diesem Tag wurde der Wurf dann auch registriert

Sie ist Jugend Multi-Champion, Multi-Champion and Veteranen Multi-Champion in vielen Ländern und stolze Mama des Msumari`s B, C & F-Wurfs ❤

Sie hat so ein tolles relaxtes Wesen, sie ist so eine liebe Seele und wir lieben sie so sehr ❤

Our beloved Minouh is the very first puppy which was born in my Msumari`s Kennel. As the firstborn puppy, she was actually born on 26.12.2009, while the rest of the litter came on 27.12.2009, so the litter had to be registered on that day.

She is Junior Multi-Champion, Multi-Champion and Veteran Multi-Champion in many countries and proud mommy of the Msumari`s B, C & F-Litter ❤

She has such a relaxed temper, a beautiful soul and we love her so much ❤
